Tired

You know, I have not posted since June 28. No good reason for it either. I preach and practice that you should post on a frequency that does not keep your readers guessing. Being predictable is important. Oh, and writing something worth reading probably ought to be a consideration as well.

I wish I could say that I was on some European cruise. But I wasn't. I am busy, and I at first did not have time to write. And then I did not write and the world did not stop. I don't know if I am going to stop blogging, but you know, I don't enjoy this as much any more.

I am tired and I don't know what I want. I will not write tomorrow, and I may write Monday. Hope your Independence Day celebration was a blast – that you were able to use high-powered explosives to commemorate the US defeating the British 231 years ago.

I fully understand, sometimes we do best at listening, and not speaking (or writing).

And under todays vernacular of post 9-11 and threats blah blah blah, it would be modified to say ...
"...that you were able to use weapons of mass destruction to commemorate the US defeating the British, our staunch ally in the war on terror and the elimination of fear in our world 231 years ago."

sermon off LOL

We all need a hiatus once in a while. I’ve thought about quitting many times. Come back when you feel the writer’s bug. We’ll still be here waiting for you.

Get the rest you need, my friend. I selfishly hope you don't give up blogging because I'd miss you. I like my little shots of Leesa.
Be good to yourself and do whatever it takes.
Cheers,
Ian

I have to agree with everyone else. Take a break, as long as you need, then see if the desire to write here returns.

I have currently been on that off-on blogging kick. Hell I've been on it for months, because I just feel like I won't top anything I ever did that attracted anyone to read the thing in the first place. However, I keep plugging away at it randomly hoping to strike gold. It's what I do.

It's ok, It happens to the best of us. Sometimes you just can't write. Don't sweat it so much.

The U.S. did not defeat the British 231 years ago.
